      ruppe nach knapp drei Jahren und 400 Decken für Menschen in der Ukraine. In
      itiatorin der seit Mai 2022 gestarteten Aktion, in der für den Frieden gest
      rickt wird, ist Angelika Gassner, Pastorale Mitarbeiterin im Pfarrverband Sa
      lzburg-Mitte der Erzdiözese Salzburg. Jede Decke vermittle den Menschen in 
      der Ukraine, dass sie in ihrer Not nicht alleingelassen sind. Es bewege dies
      e Heimatlosen sehr, dass Frauen, die sie nie kennenlernen werden, für sie s
      o viel Zeit und Liebe investieren, berichtete Gassner. Auch die nun ausgeste
      llten Decken werden anschließend gespendet. Eine Begegnung mit Strickerinne
      n ist jeweils von 14 bis 17 Uhr möglich.</p>
<h2>Der Hilflosigkeit entgege
      nwirken</h2>
<p>„Knitting for Peace“ ist eine Initiative von mehr als 3
      0 Frauen aus Österreich, genauer aus Salzburg, Oberösterreich, Wien/Hollab
      runn und Tirol, sowie aus Deutschland, die seit Mai 2022 für den Frieden st
      ricken. Aus kleinen Wollstücken werden weiche Decken hergestellt, die nicht
       nur Wärme, sondern auch Zuversicht schenken sollen. Ziel ist es, der Ohnma
      cht und Hilflosigkeit während des Krieges in der Ukraine entgegenwirken. Be
      reits 400 Decken wurden an Sr. Olexia in Lemberg geliefert, die sie an Binne
      nflüchtlinge, Witwen und Waisenkinder persönlich verteilt. (Infos: <a href
