      />Erzbischof Lackner unterstrich die gemeinsamen Wurzeln der katholischen un
      d orthodoxen Kirche. Als Geschenk &uuml;berreichte er Bischof Andrej eine Ik
      one mit Darstellungen der Heiligen Virgil und Rupert: "Mit Rupert ist die Gr
      &uuml;ndung der Erzdi&ouml;zese geschehen, und unter Virgil wurde der erste 
      Dom gebaut. Das ist eine Gemeinsamkeit mit dieser neuen Kirche. Und wir habe
      n ja ein gemeinsames Erbe", erl&auml;uterte der Erzbischof gegen&uuml;ber de
      m ORF-Salzburg.<br /><br />In Salzburg gibt es 12.000 bis 14.000 serbisch-or
      thodoxe Christen. "Wir sind als Gemeinde schon seit 1945 hier in Salzburg ve
      rankert, und dennoch ist es heute ein historischer Tag. Wir haben n&auml;mli
      ch niemals eine richtige Kirche gehabt", so der serbisch-orthodoxe Pfarrer J
      ovan Govedarica. Die neu geweihte serbisch-orthodoxe Gotteshaus steht in Sal
      zburg-Liefering.<br /><br />Mit dem Bau der neuen Kirche wurde im September 
      2009 begonnen. Es handelt sich um die zweite serbisch-orthodoxe Kirche im Bu
      ndesland Salzburg - die erste befindet sich in Saalfelden - und die erste in
       der Stadt. Der Bau der neuen Kirche erfolgte ausschlie&szlig;lich aus Spend
      en. Seit 1990 waren die serbisch-orthodoxen Christen f&uuml;r ihre Liturgie 
      zu Gast in der katholischen die Pfarre St. Blasius am B&uuml;rgerspitalsplat
      z.<br /><br />Die Kirche ist ausschlie&szlig;lich mit Ikonen, mit Malereien 
      &uuml;ber das Alte und Neue Testament geschm&uuml;ckt, sagt Marko Kodciz von
       der orthodoxen Gemeinde: "Die Ikone wird nach einem speziellen Kanon nicht
