das nicht nur die Pandemiejahre prägte, sondern auch die beiden Künstler i

<p>Beim Kreuzweg in der Stadt Salzburg am Karfreitag um 15
Uhr – die Prozession führt vom Dom bis zur Christuskirche – kommt das W
erk erstmals in die Öffentlichkeit. „Unser Kreuz spiegelt die Pandemie in
positiven wie negativen Facetten wider“, sagt Igler. „Wir haben s
ieben Kontraste eingearbeitet. In der Mitte steht die Kugel für den Virus.
Die Nägel erinnern an die festgeschlagenen Gedanken in unseren Köpfen und
an die Kreuzigung Jesu, der sein Leben gegeben hat. Während Covid bei viele
n Menschen das Zentrum geworden ist, glaube ich, dass Jesus das Zentrum in u
nserem Leben sein möchte“, ergänzt Rössler.</p>
