Die Bibelwelt wird aus aller Herren Länder besucht. Ei
n Blick in das Gästebuch bestätigt die internationale Resonanz: De
utschland, Schweiz, Italien, Ungarn, Slowakei, Tschechien, Frankreich,
England, Irland, Spanien, Niederlande, Finnland; und selbst aus Übersee
wie aus Australien, Südkorea, Malaysia, Indien, USA oder Syr
ien finden sich Einträge.

SALZBURG (eds-31.7.2019) / In diesen Tagen hat die Bibelwelt (www.bibelwelt.at) in der Kirche St. Elisabeth in der Stadt Salzburg die Schwelle des dreißigtausendsten Besuchers überschritten. „Es muss wohl ein Erstkommunionkind der Pfarre Erl gewesen sein“, vermutet Direktor Eduard Baumann. „Die vielen Schul- und Pfarrgruppen zum Schuljahrsende und Ferienbeginn haben uns vergessen lassen, das genau abzuzählen.“
Die Bibelwelt wird aus aller Herren Länder besucht. Ein Blick in das Gästebuch bestätigt die internationale Resonanz: Deutschland, Schweiz, Italien, Ungarn, Slowakei, Tschechien, Frankreich, England, Irland, Spanien, Niederlande, Finnland; und selbst aus Übersee wie aus Australien, Südkorea, Malaysia, Indien, USA oder Syrien finden sich Einträge.
Einer der schönsten Gedanken, ist der von Jana. Die Zwölfjährige schrieb: „Das ist hier total cool! Ich dachte, dass wir hier uralte Bibeln anschauen und dass man vor Langeweile einschlafen kann, aber dann! Ich liebe es! Großes Lob an Euch!“
„Visite exceptionnelle“ meint Dantine aus Frankreich und aus London schreibt Lesley-Ann: „Brilliant imagination and design in bringing God´s word to life. Excellent.“
Prominente Gäste in der Bibelwelt
Unter den 30.000 finden sich auch so manch prominente Besucher und Besucherinnen aus Kirche und Welt wie der emeritierte Ordinarius für Religionspädagogik und Katechetik Albert Biesinger, der seine Erfahrung in der Bibelwelt mit den Worten „Bibel begreifen als Erlebnis und Beziehung – hohes Kompliment!“ zusammenfasste.
Zu Gast war kürzlich der Weihbischof der Nachbar-Erzdiözese München und Freising, Wolfgang Bischof, mit seinem Büroteam. Vom Land Salzburg besuchte die Bibelwelt die Landtagspräsidentin Brigitta Pallauf, der Landeshauptmann Wilfried Haslauer und die Klubobfrau der Grünen Kimbie Humer-Vogl. Von der Stadtregierung beehrten die Bibelwelt Martina Berthold und Anja Hagenauer. „Auf den Bürgermeister der Stadt Salzburg warten wir noch, aber da wird sich auch noch ein Termin finden lassen“, meint Direktor Baumann zuversichtlich. „Immerhin ist die Bibel einer der tragenden kulturellen Wurzeln unserer westlichen Welt. Das wollen wir mit der Bibelwelt verdeutlichen. Wenn man in China ganz andere Wertmaßstäbe in Sachen Menschenrechte anlegt, dann hat das mit dem jüdisch-christlichen Welt- und Menschenbild zu tun.“
