      zentrum St. Virgil statt. Als zentrale Gestalten der Exodus-Erzählung stehen
       dabei Mose und Mirjam im Fokus. Zu Aspekten rund um Glaube, Freiheit, Autor
      ität und die Herausforderung, Gottes Willen in schwierigen Zeiten zu leben, 
      wird&nbsp;Experte Christoph Dohmen sprechen, berichtet die Salzburger Kirche
      nzeitung „Rupertusblatt“ (aktuelle Ausgabe).</p>
<p>Ein gutes Beispiel für 
      einen Bezug zur Gegenwart ist für Dohmen etwa das Verständnis von Freiheit a
      uf Basis der biblischen Erzählung. „Befreiung muss man immer in mehrere Rich
      tungen sehen und im Buch Exodus ist das auch so. Ich werde befreit, aber woz
      u wird man befreit?“ Gesetze wie der Dekalog, die Zehn Gebote, seien Hilfen,
       gewonnene Freiheit zu bewahren. „Als Hintergrund für unsere heutige Situati
      on bedeutet das, wir müssen aktiv etwas tun, um unsere Freiheit zu bewahren.
       Es braucht so etwas wie ‚Exodus‘ im Sinne von Aufbruch.“</p>
<p>Christoph 
      Dohmen ist Professor für Exegese und Hermeneutik des Alten Testaments i. R. 
      an der Universität Regensburg. Er war Mitglied der Päpstlichen Bibelkommissi
      on in Rom und Mitarbeiter bei der Revision der Einheitsübersetzung der Heili
      gen Schrift.</p>
