SALZBURG (eds) / Neben den vier Konzerten der Bands bzw. Musiker <link https: www.youtube.com _blank>Karl Kayzer, <link https: www.youtube.com _blank>The Oceans, <link https: www.youtube.com _blank>Robert Herbe und Florian Mathias gibt es an dem Abend auch Poetry-Slam-Sequenzen des Salzburger Kulturpreisträgers <link https: de.wikipedia.org wiki lukas_wagner _blank>Lukas Wagner.

Rund 80 Minuten dauert das Konzert, das auf der <link http: www.khg-salzburg.at _blank>Website der Universitätspfarre und Katholischen Hochschulgemeinde sowie auf Facebook übertragen wird. Es widmet sich ganz der Unterstützung des in der Coronakrise entstandenen Hilfsfonds „Play it forward“.

Die Auswahl der Künstler*innen, die in den Genuss einer Zuwendung aus dem Fonds kommen, obliegt einem extra eingerichteten Komitee. Die Zuwendungen werden rasch ausbezahlt.
  • Bridging Arts organisiert nach der Krise Auftrittsgelegenheiten, auch in karitativen Einrichtungen, bei denen sich die begünstigten Künstler*innen für die Unterstützung durch einen Auftritt erkenntlich zeigen können.

In diesem Jahr sind wir gefordert, Zusammenhalt und Mitmenschlichkeit und so auch christliches Handeln an die erste Stelle zu setzen und zu versuchen Menschen, die die durch die Corona-Krise in Not geraten sind zu unterstützen und ihnen und uns allen Mut zu machen. Play it Forward - Dankbarkeit im Voraus

Das Konzept von Play it Forward: Die Begünstigten werden für künstlerische Leistungen im Voraus honoriert – das ist ein Versprechen und die Hoffnung auf eine Zeit nach Corona, sich wieder mit dem Publikum im öffentlichen Raum zu begegnen. Bridging Arts wird die Auftritte ermöglichen. Ein Komitee wählt aus den Bewerbungen aus.

Viele freischaffende Künstlerinnen und Künstler sind durch die Corona-Krise ernsthaft existenziell bedroht.
