einer lauten Welt. Ewiges Gedächtnis.“ Heuer ist das Osterdatum in den Konfe
ssionen der Ost- und Westkirchen auf einen gemeinsamen Termin gefallen. Es w
urde in großer ökumenischer Verbundenheit gefeiert und gebetet, es flossen l
iturgische Elemente der West- und der Ostkirchen ein. Unter den Feiernden wa

<p>Die Intention der
Auferstehung sei laut dem griechisch-orthodoxen Metropolit Arsenios das Eva
ngelium, die frohe Botschaft. Sie immer wieder in das Heute zu bringen und s
ie zu erleben, sei grundlegend für alle Christinnen und Christen, für die ga
nze Kirche. „Im heutigen Evangelium öffnet sich für uns das heilige Innerste
des Herzens unseres Herrn.“ Christus habe nicht nur für sich selbst gebetet
, sondern für alle Menschen. „Es ist die Selbsthingabe“, betonte er und verw
ies auf die Grundlegung des Glaubensbekenntnisses am ersten ökumenischen Kon
zil (Nizäa, 325).</p>
<p>Es sei kein Zufall, dass sich die Kirche in Nizäa
mit einer Stimme zum Glaubensbekenntnis und dem einen Wesen von Vater und So
hn bekannte. Das Glaubensbekenntnis von Nizäa sei nicht nur eine Meinung, so
ndern vor allem „eine Erfahrung des wahren Gottes, der das Heil bringt und s
omit der Erlöser selbst ist und den Menschen erneuert, damit dieser das Gött
liche durch die Geschichte hindurch wahrnehmen kann“. Das Wahrnehmen der Her

Standhaftigkeit im Glauben sei etwas, das man vom Konzil von Nizäa lernen könne, bekräftigte Metropolit Arsenios. „Die Kirche ist berufen, in aller Vielfalt eins zu sein, in dem, der der Weg, die Wahrheit und das Leben ist, also Christus als Wahrheit zu erfahren und nicht nur als eine symbolisch-ethische Größe.“
Auch der verstorbene Papst Franziskus habe den Weg der Einheit gepflegt, sagte Metropolit Arsenios. „Wir als Orthodoxe nehmen Teil an dieser Trauer der Katholischen Kirche, weil er ein Gesicht der Hoffnung war, eine Stimme des Friedens. Und er hatte ein großes Herz der Barmherzigkeit. Seine Worte waren ein leiser Ruf des Evangeliums in einer lauten Welt. Ewiges Gedächtnis.“
