ber die Jahrzehnte Krise an Krise, erzählte er. „Das Land, das flächenmäßig
kleiner als Tirol ist, ist das Zuhause von sechs Millionen Menschen, darunte
r sind eineinhalb Millionen geflüchtete Menschen, vor allem aus Syrien. Dami
t hat der Libanon in Relation zur Gesamtbevölkerung die meisten Flüchtlinge
weltweit aufgenommen. Überall im Land ist mittlerweile die Armut sichtbar.“
Traumata von Kindern und Jugendlichen werden von der Caritas und ihrer Partn
erorganisation Seenaryo mittels Theaterprojekte bearbeitet, „ein sicherer Ra
um inmitten des instabilen und mühsamen Alltags“. Sonneck habe zudem gesehen
, „was Hilfe bewirken kann – eben, weil Menschen da sind, die niemals aufgeb
en“. Schulen im Libanon seien „längst nicht mehr nur Orte des Lernens, sie s
