      stisch vermarkten? Als vor etlichen Jahren die ersten Ideen zum Bau einer 30
       Meter hohen, begehbaren Stahl-Holz-Konstruktion auf der Buchensteinwand auf
      tauchten, gingen die Wogen hoch. 100 Einspr&uuml;che gab es gegen das geplan
      te Jakobskreuz, schlie&szlig;lich sprachen sich bei einer Volksabstimmung im
       November 2013 doch zwei Drittel der Bev&ouml;lkerung f&uuml;r den Bau aus.<
      br /><br />Er sei zun&auml;chst selbst skeptisch gewesen, erkl&auml;rt Micha
      el Max, Neumarkter Pfarrer und Liturgiereferent der Erzdi&ouml;zese, der sic
      h mit guten Ideen beteiligt, wenn es darum geht, das Kreuz mit spirituellem 
      Inhalt zu f&uuml;llen. Aber als er dann oben stand und ins Pillerseetal hina
      bblickte, sei etwas mit ihm passiert: &bdquo;Wenn man den Blick auf die pr&a
      uml;chtige Sch&ouml;pfung richtet und inneh&auml;lt, sieht man gleichzeitig 
      auch deutlich, was einem selbst wichtig ist. Das Jakobskreuz ist etwas Beson
      deres, was zum einen schon am Ort liegt, zum anderen an der Idee, die dahint
      ersteht. Es ist nicht hohl, es ist nicht nur touristisch &ndash; auch wenn E
      intritt verlangt wird.&ldquo; Das Jakobskreuz sei ideal, um auch in einem se
      hr profanen und touris-tischen Umfeld glaubw&uuml;rdige, spirituelle Akzente
       zu setzen &ndash; eine Meinung, die Hermann Signitzer und Angelika Gassner 
      vom di&ouml;zesanen Seelsorgeamt teilen: &bdquo;Wir wollen das Kreuz ganz be
      hutsam als sakralen Ort wahrnehmen, wo Menschen sich ber&uuml;hren lassen.&l
