och sei die Arbeit nicht getan, so der Salzburger Caritasdirektor Johannes D

chaft zu integrieren. Integration kann nur gelingen, indem beide Kulturen of

iter leisteten in dieser Zeit rund 3.650 Stunden Arbeit, die Freiwilligen He
lfer leisteten 16.800 Stunden Arbeit. Verteilt wurden durch die Caritas rund
300 Tonnen an Lebensmitteln, Hygieneartikeln und Kleidung.
Laut Cari
tas-Angaben befinden sich im Bundesland Salzburg derzeit 4.500 Asylwerber in
der Grundversorgung, rund 400 Menschen sind dabei in einem der zwölf F
lüchtlingsunterkünfte der Caritas untergebracht. Am Höchststa
nd wurden 500 Menschen in 15 Flüchtlingshäusern betreut. Insgesamt
wurden seit September 2015 etwa 840 Menschen in einem Flüchtlingsquart
ier der Caritas im Bundesland Salzburg betreut. Das Betreuungsangebot umfass
t über die Unterbringung und Nothilfe hinaus auch eine Rechtsberatung,
eine vom Asyl-, Migrations- und Integrationsfonds und vom Innenministerium k
ofinanzierte "Rückkehrhilfe" und psychotherapeutische Angebote. Seit Ju
li dieses Jahres bietet die Caritas außerdem ein "Qualifikationsscreen

Im Rahmen des Projekts "Deutsch ist Zukunft" werden außerdem Deutschkurse für Asylwerber mit hohem Bildungsniveau angeboten. Für Herbst dieses Jahres ist geplant, Plätze im Rahmen des "Freiwilligen Integrationsjahres" anzubieten und so anerkannten Asylwerbern die Möglichkeit zu bieten, sich im sozialen Bereich zu engagieren.
