tscheidend davon abhängt, wie viel Platz man dem Radverkehr einräu
mt“, gibt sich Johann Neumayer vom Umweltreferat der Erzdiözese S
alzburg überzeugt. Doch Autofasten ist auch eine Einladung, weitere Alt
ernativen zum Auto auszuprobieren: „Das Zu-Fuß-Gehen, Bahn und B
us oder schlicht der Verzicht auf nicht unbedingt notwendige Fahrten.“
<br /><br />Ab Aschermittwoch wollen die Veranstalter durch Verteilaktionen
auf diese Initiative aufmerksam machen: Mit Bio-Äpfeln, Fahrplänen
des öffentlichen Verkehrs und Informationen zur Aktion. Vor den Schule
n werden Eltern eingeladen, das „Elterntaxi“ daheim stehen zu la
ssen und ihren Kindern so den Schulweg an der frischen Luft zu ermöglic
hen. Schulklassen können heuer spezielle „Mobilitätsworkshop
s“ buchen.<br /><br />Seit diesem Jahr wird „Autofasten“ v
on der Katholischen Männerbewegung (KMB) mitorganisiert. „Wir m&o
uml;chten uns in die Diskussion über Mobilität einbringen und kons
truktiv mitarbeiten. Außerdem wollen wir zeigen, dass es Alternativen
zum Autofahren gibt, die nicht nur Energie sparen und CO2 vermindern, sonder
n auch gesünder sind und Spaß machen“, betont Christoph Kan
dlbinder, hauptamtlicher Mitarbeiter der KMB. Weitere Kooperationspartner si

Seit diesem Jahr wird „Autofasten“ von der Katholischen Männerbewegung (KMB) mitorganisiert. „Wir möchten uns in die Diskussion über Mobilität einbringen und konstruktiv mitarbeiten. Außerdem wollen wir zeigen, dass es Alternativen zum Autofahren gibt, die nicht nur Energie sparen und CO2 vermindern, sondern auch gesünder sind und Spaß machen“, betont Christoph Kandlbinder, hauptamtlicher Mitarbeiter der KMB. Weitere Kooperationspartner sind der Salzburger Verkehrsverbund sowie Land und Stadt Salzburg.
Auch heuer werden wieder unter allen angemeldeten TeilnehmerInnen Preise verlost: Hauptpreis ist ein Wochenende für zwei Personen im Biohotel Gralhof am Weißensee inklusive Anreise mit öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln.
Österreichweit hatte die Aktion im Vorjahr 16.600 Unterstützer. Durch ihren Auto-Verzicht wurden 9,9 Millionen Kilometer und 1.950 Tonnen CO2 eingespart.
