      che-Seminar am 6. April in St. Virgil.
Sumeeta Hasenbichler kam 1999 nach &
      Ouml;sterreich. „Als ,Fremde‘ wirst du in Frage gestellt. Das ha
      t mir persönlich gut getan. Ich habe mich zum Beispiel sehr damit ausei
      nander gesetzt, was es heißt, eine Hindu-Frau zu sein. In Indien h&aum
      l;tte ich mich wohl nicht so intensiv mit meiner Religion beschäftigt.&
      ldquo; Sie habe auch mit dem Gedanken gespielt zum Christentum überzutr
      eten, aber sich dann dagegen entschieden. Bewusst seien allerdings ihre Kind
      er römisch-katholisch getauft.   
Hasenbichler ist seit lang
      em entwicklungspolitisch engagiert und seit 2009 im Vorstand der Katholische
      n Frauenbewegung. „Helfen“ heißt für sie „uns s
      elbst zu helfen“. Denn: „Geht es Menschen weltweit gut, geht es 
      uns gut. Die Welt wächst enger zusammen, ist eine Familie und wir alle 
      sind Mitglieder dieser Familie. Deshalb soll Entwicklungshilfe stets auf Aug
      enhöhe passieren.“ Interkulturalität in der weltkirchlichen 
      Zusammenarbeit sehe sie als „begegnen – lernen – verstehen
      “. Dafür brauche es Offenheit der anderen Person oder der anderen
       Kultur gegenüber.

      eben dem Vortrag von Hasenbichler greifen beim Weltkirche-Seminar Impuls- un
      d Austauschrunden Fragen der interkulturellen Kommunikation auf. Wie k&ouml;
      nnen wir Unterschiede positiv nutzen? Wie ist Projektarbeit durch die interk
      ulturelle Brille gut m&ouml;glich? Die Antworten sollen Mut machen, globale 
      Begegnungen zu wagen und sich auf kulturelle Lernprozesse einzulassen.
