liche gemeinsam mit der Holzgruppe der Lebenshilfe Bischofshofen unter Anlei
tung eines Tischlermeisters aus der Region neue Vollholzbetten zimmern. Die
37 Schlafmöbel sollen samt neuen Matratzen im Jugendhaus steyleWelt in
Bischofshofen für ruhige Nächte sorgen, heißt es von der Kat
holischen Jugend Salzburg, die das Haus betreut.

uuml;r stille Nächte</b>
Mittlerweile sind die Betten im Jugendhaus st
eyleWelt in Bischofshofen 40 Jahre alt. Sie wurden in den 1970er-Jahren, als
das Gebäude neben dem Missionsprivatgymnasium St. Rupert noch als Inte
rnat genutzt wurde, angeschafft. Jetzt sollen die Möbel und Matratzen d
urch Vollholzbetten und neue Matratzen ersetzt werden. Die Kosten für d
as geplante Projekt belaufen sich auf 35.000 Euro.
Die Erneuerung des
Mobiliars wird zur Hälfte durch die Stille Nacht 2018 GmbH und das Lan
d Salzburg finanziert „Das Lied ‚Stille Nacht‘ steht
für Mitmenschlichkeit. Deshalb sollen Jugendliche gemeinsam mit Mensch
en mit Beeinträchtigungen zusammenarbeiten und sich gegenseitig kennen
und schätzen lernen. Die gemeinsam gebauten Betten werden dafür f&
uuml;r viele Jahre sichtbares Zeichen sein“, sagt Veronika Beier. Um a
n die Geschichte und Bedeutung der „Stillen Nacht“ zu erinnern,
wird an jedem Bett ein Schriftzug mit einem Verweis auf einen Stille-Nacht-O
rt angebracht, Orte, die eine besondere Bedeutung für die Entstehung de
s Liedes „Stille Nacht“ haben.

BISCHOFSHOFEN/SALZBURG (KJ/eds-31.7.2018) / „Ein gutes Bett ist eine wichtige Voraussetzung für eine friedliche und stille Nacht“, sagt Veronika Beier von der Katholischen Jugend. Während des Projekts „72 Stunden ohne Kompromiss“ vom 17. bis 20. Oktober werden 15 Jugendliche gemeinsam mit der Holzgruppe der Lebenshilfe Bischofshofen unter Anleitung eines Tischlermeisters aus der Region neue Vollholzbetten zimmern. Die 37 Schlafmöbel sollen samt neuen Matratzen im Jugendhaus steyleWelt in Bischofshofen für ruhige Nächte sorgen, heißt es von der Katholischen Jugend Salzburg, die das Haus betreut.
Aufmöbeln für stille Nächte
Mittlerweile sind die Betten im Jugendhaus steyleWelt in Bischofshofen 40 Jahre alt. Sie wurden in den 1970er-Jahren, als das Gebäude neben dem Missionsprivatgymnasium St. Rupert noch als Internat genutzt wurde, angeschafft. Jetzt sollen die Möbel und Matratzen durch Vollholzbetten und neue Matratzen ersetzt werden. Die Kosten für das geplante Projekt belaufen sich auf 35.000 Euro.
Die Erneuerung des Mobiliars wird zur Hälfte durch die Stille Nacht 2018 GmbH und das Land Salzburg finanziert „Das Lied ‚Stille Nacht‘ steht für Mitmenschlichkeit. Deshalb sollen Jugendliche gemeinsam mit Menschen mit Beeinträchtigungen zusammenarbeiten und sich gegenseitig kennen und schätzen lernen. Die gemeinsam gebauten Betten werden dafür für viele Jahre sichtbares Zeichen sein“, sagt Veronika Beier. Um an die Geschichte und Bedeutung der „Stillen Nacht“ zu erinnern, wird an jedem Bett ein Schriftzug mit einem Verweis auf einen Stille-Nacht-Ort angebracht, Orte, die eine besondere Bedeutung für die Entstehung des Liedes „Stille Nacht“ haben.
Spender gesucht
Trotz der Unterstützung durch die Stille-Nacht-Gesellschaft fehlen noch Eigenmittel. „Mit Hilfe von SpenderInnen können wir die Finanzierung sicher schaffen“, sagt Christina Eßl, die sich im Jugendhaus steyleWelt mit zwei weiteren hauptamtlichen MitarbeiterInnen um die Koordination der Gäste kümmert.
Das Jugendhaus steyleWelt am Kreuzberg in Bischofshofen ist sowohl ein offener Jugendtreff als auch eine Übernachtungsmöglichkeit für Jugendgruppen. Entstanden ist die steyleWelt durch eine Kooperation zwischen der Katholischen Jugend und den Steyler Missionaren Mitteleuropäische Provinz. Die Steyler Missionare, eigentlich Gesellschaft des Göttlichen Wortes genannt, sind seit 1906 eine Ordensgemeinschaft und führen in Bischofshofen das Missionshaus St. Rupert.
72 Stunden ohne Kompromiss ist Österreichs größte Jugendsozialaktion der Katholischen Jugend in Zusammenarbeit mit youngCaritas und Hitradio Ö3. Die Aktion findet von 17. bis 20. Oktober statt. Jugendliche können bei zahlreichen sozialen Projekten in andere Lebenswelten eintauchen und neue Erfahrungen machen.
