aviersolistin, Klavierlehrerin und Korrepetitorin tätig, würdigt E
va Neumayr vom Archiv der Erzdiözese Maria Anna Mozart. In de
r Schriftenreihe des Archivs ist das Buch als Band 20 erschienen.
Die von Neumayr gegründete Maria-Anna-Mozart-Gesellschaft hat sich zu
sammen mit Stiftung Mozarteum und Universität Mozarteum in drei Symposi
en ausführlich mit der Namensgeberin beschäftigt. Übereinstim
mendes Ergebnis: die vertraute und gleichzeitig herablassende Anrede „
Nannerl“ hat in wissenschaftlichen Publikationen nichts verloren. Nich
t „die fünfzigjährige Nannerl“, sondern Maria Anna von
Berchtold zu Sonnenburg, nicht „Nannerl“, sondern Maria Anna Mo
zart wird in diesem auch bibliophil ansprechenden Band präsentiert. Wer

Jahrhunderts bekannt ist, die die meisten aber – wenn überhaupt – nur unter „Nannerl“ wie sie als Kind von der Familie genannt wurde, kennen. Von ihrem Vater Leopold Mozart ausgebildet und in ihrer Kindheit eine der ersten europaweit konzertierenden Pianistinnen, war sie vor ihrer Heirat mit dem hochfürstlichen Pfleger von Hütenstein, Johann Baptist von Berchtold zu Sonnenberg, in Salzburg als Klaviersolistin, Klavierlehrerin und Korrepetitorin tätig, würdigt Eva Neumayr vom Archiv der Erzdiözese Maria Anna Mozart. In der Schriftenreihe des Archivs ist das Buch als Band 20 erschienen.
Die von Neumayr gegründete Maria-Anna-Mozart-Gesellschaft hat sich zusammen mit Stiftung Mozarteum und Universität Mozarteum in drei Symposien ausführlich mit der Namensgeberin beschäftigt. Übereinstimmendes Ergebnis: die vertraute und gleichzeitig herablassende Anrede „Nannerl“ hat in wissenschaftlichen Publikationen nichts verloren. Nicht „die fünfzigjährige Nannerl“, sondern Maria Anna von Berchtold zu Sonnenburg, nicht „Nannerl“, sondern Maria Anna Mozart wird in diesem auch bibliophil ansprechenden Band präsentiert. Wer das Buch gelesen hat, dessen Wahrnehmung von Maria Anna Mozart wird sich grundlegend geändert haben: Weg vom „Nannerl“, das angeblich von Vater und Ehemann fremdbestimmt ist, hin zu einer eigenständig agierenden Frau, die ihr Leben zwar innerhalb der Grenzen führen musste, die die Gesellschaft damals setzte, die aber – auch mithilfe ihres oft gescholtenen Vaters Leopold Mozart, der immerhin seiner Tochter eine vorzügliche musikalische Ausbildung gab und ihr mit Freundschaft und Respekt begegnete – mehr erreichte, als eine bürgerliche Frau damals erhoffen konnte, wie Eva Neumayr in ihrem Vorwort schreibt.
Die Maria-Anna-Mozart-Gesellschaft will das kulturelle Bewusstsein für Frauen als musikalisch schaffende Künstlerinnen durch Konzerte und anderen künstlerische Projekte, durch Erforschung und Edition von Werken dieser Komponistinnen stärken. Informationen: www.maria-anna-mozart.at
