<p>„Das Gebet an der Hand Mariens ist immer eine gute
Lösung“, sagte Prälat Mandl und verwies auf die aus dem Bistum Augsburg
stammende Darstellung der „Maria Knotenlöserin“, die auch Papst Franzis
kus so gut gefällt. Lösungen braucht es derzeit in der Tat viele angesicht
s der zahlreichen Krisen in der Welt. Als Motto hatten sich die Wallfahrtsor
ganisatoren um Franz-Josef Freiherr von der Heydte dieses Jahr den „Friede
n“ gewählt. Aus einem sicher geglaubten „Nie wieder“ nach dem II. Wel
tkrieg sei ein „Schon wieder“ geworden, sagte von der Heydte mit Bezug a
uf den russischen Angriffskrieg in der Ukraine und erinnerte an die „Fried
enskönigin“ Maria, der die Pilger ihre Bitte um Frieden zu Füßen legen
wollten.</p>
<h2>Erzbischof Franz Lackner würdigt Malteser als „Großmac
ht der Barmherzigkeit“</h2>
<p>Das Thema der Wallfahrt griff auch Erzbisc
hof Franz Lackner in seiner Predigt auf. Erst eine Woche zuvor war er von ei
nem Besuch in Lemberg/Lwiw zurückgekehrt. Er sprach von einer „tief berü
hrenden Erfahrung“ und erzählte von seinen Erlebnissen; u.a. von verletzt
en und alten Menschen sowie zu Waisen gewordenen Kindern in einer Einrichtun
g für Flüchtlinge aus dem Osten der Ukraine; von einer Mutter am Grab ihre
s gefallenen Sohnes auf dem Lytschakiwski-Friedhof, mit der sie gemeinsam ge
betet hatten; von einem Luftschutzalarm während eines Gottesdienstes in der

Sie alle zogen in einer Prozession über den Kapellplatz zum Festgottesdienst in der St. Anna-Basilika, wo sie der ehemalige Wallfahrtsrektor Prälat Günther Mandl herzlich begrüßte.
"Frieden" als Motto der Wallfahrt - Aus einem "Nie wieder" wird ein "schon wieder"
„Das Gebet an der Hand Mariens ist immer eine gute Lösung“, sagte Prälat Mandl und verwies auf die aus dem Bistum Augsburg stammende Darstellung der „Maria Knotenlöserin“, die auch Papst Franziskus so gut gefällt. Lösungen braucht es derzeit in der Tat viele angesichts der zahlreichen Krisen in der Welt. Als Motto hatten sich die Wallfahrtsorganisatoren um Franz-Josef Freiherr von der Heydte dieses Jahr den „Frieden“ gewählt. Aus einem sicher geglaubten „Nie wieder“ nach dem II. Weltkrieg sei ein „Schon wieder“ geworden, sagte von der Heydte mit Bezug auf den russischen Angriffskrieg in der Ukraine und erinnerte an die „Friedenskönigin“ Maria, der die Pilger ihre Bitte um Frieden zu Füßen legen wollten.
Erzbischof Franz Lackner würdigt Malteser als „Großmacht der Barmherzigkeit“
Das Thema der Wallfahrt griff auch Erzbischof Franz Lackner in seiner Predigt auf. Erst eine Woche zuvor war er von einem Besuch in Lemberg/Lwiw zurückgekehrt. Er sprach von einer „tief berührenden Erfahrung“ und erzählte von seinen Erlebnissen; u.a. von verletzten und alten Menschen sowie zu Waisen gewordenen Kindern in einer Einrichtung für Flüchtlinge aus dem Osten der Ukraine; von einer Mutter am Grab ihres gefallenen Sohnes auf dem Lytschakiwski-Friedhof, mit der sie gemeinsam gebetet hatten; von einem Luftschutzalarm während eines Gottesdienstes in der Lemberger Garnisonskirche, bei dem die Menschen ruhig geblieben waren und im Gebet verharrten. Letzteres zeige: Glaube gebe Halt und schenke wenigstens für einen Moment immer auch Frieden im Herzen.
„Das gemeinsame Gebet um Frieden und Freiheit für die Welt, die aus so vielen Wunden blutet, ist so wichtig“, betonte Erzbischof Lackner. Mit Bezug auf das Evangelium von Martha und Maria (Lk 10, 38-42) sagte er: „Sie sind zusammen die Wahrheit des Evangeliums“, doch manchmal müsse man Akzente setzen. Dienste gebe es in der Kirche heute sehr viele. In einer Zeit, in der „wir die Gottesbeziehung weithin verloren haben“, sei es umso wichtiger, eben diese zu betonen. Der Erzbischof resümierte: „Das ist unsere gemeinsame Aufgabe: die Sehnsucht, Gott zu lieben und für Menschen da zu sein, zu denen wir geschickt werden.“
Bereits in seiner Begrüßung hatte Lackner die Malteser als „Großmacht der Barmherzigkeit“ gewürdigt, die ihren Dienst stets auch mit Glauben und Gebet verbindet.
Nachmittags fand eine Andacht in der Stiftspfarrkirche statt – dort steht derzeit das Gnadenbild aufgrund der Sanierung der Gnadenkapelle bis Oktober.
