      in bewegtes Jahr in der Erzdiözese sowie „berührt“ vom Thema Hoffnung auf da
      s Heilige Jahr zurück. „Wir haben vieles umgesetzt, etwa den Bau der BAfEP (
      Bildungsanstalt für Elementarpädagogik). Auch den Organisationsentwicklungsp
      rozess haben wir erfolgreich abgeschlossen. Nun steht die Domrestaurierung a
      n. Ob sie noch in meiner Amtszeit gelingt, wird sich zeigen. Es wäre für mic
      h eine große Freude, meinem Nachfolger einen im neuen Glanz erstrahlenden Do
      m übergeben zu können.“ In den kommenden Jahren wolle er „dort sein, wo der 
      Herbst des Lebens und des Glaubens stattfindet“.</p>
<p>Neben dem Franzisku
      sjahr 2026 (Ordensgründer Franz von Assisi starb vor 800 Jahren) sprach er a
      uch über seinen bevorstehenden 70. Geburtstag sowie über die Wandelbarkeit d
      er Kirche: „Auch die Kirche selbst unterliegt einem Transformationsprozess. 
      Sie kann Jesus nicht eins zu eins übersetzen. Deshalb muss Wandelbarkeit ste
      ts ein Thema sein. Die große Frage ist jene nach dem Wie.“ Über Veränderung 
      als Teil des Lebens sagte er: „Die Kunst des Loslassens ist unerlässlich. Wi
      r müssen uns fragen: Ist das weiterhin notwendig? Ist das noch wichtig? Früh
      er waren etwa Schulen oder Krankenhäuser in der Trägerschaft von Orden alter
      nativlos; heute gibt es dieses Alleinstellungsmerkmal nicht mehr. Leben bede
      utet, sich zu wandeln und zu verändern.“ Dieser Wandlungsprozess müsse organ
      isch geschehen. In der Kirche bewege sich vieles, „wir müssen nur darauf ach
      ten, nicht zu schnell zu institutionalisieren. Und manches – vielleicht soga
      r Wesentliches – geschieht nebenbei“.</p>
